How to Start living a healthier Lifestyle

  1. Before you decide to fill half of you plate with fruits and veggies, think of something very important.
    How the food is digested in your body? Which food is going to be digested faster than the rest on your plate?
    The answer is simple - fruits will be digested faster than any food, so eat them first at least 30 min. before and one hour after the main coarse.
    For this reason, milk (dairy in any form) and fruits are not meant to go together. Meat (in any form) and fruits too... When the milk or meat land first and the fruits follow them, the fruits will start to ferment inside, filling you with unnecessary gas and bloating (to mention a few of the dis-eases to follow)... You feel the heat and the heartburn, but do not understand the reasons? This is one of them.

    So, next time you decide to indulge yourself with yogurt, filled with berries and starch or pectin for thickness... try this one:
    1. Buy a half a gallon almond milk and a few bags of frozen organic fruits and berries.
    2. Thaw the frozen ones ;O), fill in the blender, pour some almond milk and blend.
    3. Cold food and drinks are not good for the linings of your esophagus and stomach, so let the frozen smoothie "relax" for a few minutes, blend it again and drink a glass or few... ;O)
